Four people who have never held elected office before submitted paperwork to file for positions on the Jefferson County Quorum Court of the first day of filing Monday.
Each of the four will be challenging incumbents including two running against District 1 Justice of the Peace Alfred Carroll.
Those two are DuSean Eans and Jacqueline Tillmon, and each spoke to Floyd Donald about their candidacy.
Leo Smith will challenge District 2 Justice of the Peace Reginald Adams and Randy Green will make a second bid to defeat District 6 Justice of the Peace Margaret Williams, who has currently not announced if she will run for reelection or not.
Smith and Green also talked to Floyd Donald about their candidacy.
