The Watson Chapel School Board met Tuesday night to present its public report and discuss several issues currently facing the district — including student enrollment and attendance.
Superintendent Dr. Keith McGee joined the Oldies 101.3 Morning Show on Wednesday to further discuss the report.
Dr. McGee said one of the district’s biggest challenges is that many students who live within district boundaries are not attending school anywhere.
When asked by host Will Jenkins whether parents can be held accountable for their children’s lack of attendance, McGee provided an explanation.
