According to the department, this milestone reflects the success of its Office of Professional Standards, which continues to recruit candidates with a strong desire to serve and protect the citizens of Pine Bluff.
“We are excited to welcome these new officers to our team and are confident they will make a positive impact on the safety and well-being of our community,” the department said in a statement.

All six officers have successfully completed the department’s “Rookie School” and will now begin a 12-week Field Training Program under the supervision of certified Field Training Officers.
Recruit Officers Morrison and Wilson are scheduled to attend the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy (ALETA) in January 2026. In addition, five new recruits are slated to begin training on October 20, 2025, bringing the total number of officers set to attend ALETA to seven.
