The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission has announced the promotion of Game Warden Chris Rawls to the rank of Sergeant in District C-4, which covers Southeast Arkansas and is based out of Monticello.
Sgt. Rawls has served as a Game Warden for the past five years and has been assigned to Cleveland County since graduating from the AGFC Enforcement Cadet School.
In 2024, Sgt. Rawls was recognized as the C-4 Boating Officer of the Year, honoring his dedication to public safety and enforcement on Arkansas waterways.
Along with his enforcement duties, Rawls serves as a Field Training Officer, helping to prepare and mentor new wardens entering the agency.
AGFC officials praised Sgt. Rawls for his leadership, professionalism, and commitment to conservation.
“Please join us in congratulating Sgt. Rawls on his promotion,” the agency said in a statement. “We are expecting great things from him in his new role.”
