Lincoln County Sheriff Steve Young has confirmed that law enforcement officers are actively searching for Brandon Parsons, who fled on foot after a vehicle crash early Wednesday morning.
According to reports, the incident began around 2 a.m. in the city when deputies attempted to apprehend Parsons, who is wanted in connection with domestic abuse charges. He fled from authorities, wrecked a vehicle, and ran into a wooded area. Tracking dogs were deployed but were unable to locate him.
Witnesses later reported possible sightings in the Goodfellow Road and Garnett areas, though authorities believe Parsons may have secured a ride and could now be outside the immediate area.
Parsons is described as a white male, approximately 40–45 years old and 6-1, 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and gray jogging pants.
While the immediate search area has been cleared, Sheriff Young is urging residents to remain vigilant and take precautions:
