White Hall Police Chief Highlights Full Staff and New Canine Unit in Local Schools

White Hall Police Chief Mickey Buffkin was a guest on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show where he talked about his department having a full staff of 12 officers, as well as part-timers who are always ready to work if needed.

He went on to talk about the new canine that has been added and with her handler is assigned to White Hall High School. Morning Show host Greg Horne described the dog as “more of a deterrent than anything.”

Buffkin said the dog has also been taken to the middle school and the elementary schools.
