A $2,500 cash only bond was set Monday for a Grady woman on drug related charges.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Lindsey Smith, 37, with possession of a controlled substance.

Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel asked for the cash only bond because Smith has pending drug related charges from Lincoln County.

Akel said Smith was a passenger in a vehicle that an Arkansas State Trooper stopped on I-530 because a computer check showed the vehicle had no insurance.

The Public Defender’s Office was appointed to represent Smith and she was told to come back to court Nov. 3.
