A $35,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Pine Bluff man who allegedly forced his way into an apartment in July, struck a resident of that apartment, and took firearms.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Montae Langel, 19, with aggravated residential burglary, second-degree battery, theft of property and criminal mischief.
Deputy Prosecutor Ty Spradlin said on July 31 at 10:49 p.m., police were sent to the Regency Arms Apartments on West 31st Avenue in response to an unknown trouble call,
Spradlin went on to say this.
Langel was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court Oct. 29.
