A $5,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man accused of trying to get into a building where his former girlfriend was, and of having suspected methamphetamine in his vehicle.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Joshua Lunsford, 31, with possession of a controlled substance and attempted criminal mischief.
Reading from an affidavit by White Hall Police Investigator Charles Treadway, Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel said White Hall Police responded to a reported disturbance on Dollarway Road involving Lunsford and his former girlfriend.
When Lunsford was interviewed, he admitted try get in and use a pry bar, and investigators found a crystal-like substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine and weighed .07grams.
Lunsford was told to come back to court Sept. 22.
