A $25,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man accused of robbing another man on Wednesday. A $2,500 bond was set for the same man who is accused of threatening to kill police officers in May.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bonds after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Donald Sabb, 36, with robbery in the first instance and terroristic threatening in the second.
Chief Deputy Prosecutor Jill Reed said Sabb is currently on a 10-year suspended imposition of sentence and prosecutors will fill a motion to revoke that suspension.
She said on Wednesday, police were sent to what she believes was U.S. Renal Care.
After a few minutes, the video showed the victim on the ground on top of the storm drain and Sabb going through his pocket and taking off his boots.
The second incident occurred May 12 when police were sent to 28th Avenue and Hazel Street after a report of a man in a wheelchair obstructing traffic.
The man was identified as Sabb and after he refused to cooperate, he was placed under arrest for obstructing governmental operations.
Kearney said Sabb is currently being held in Arkansas County and ordered that he be brought back to Jefferson County to face multiple misdemeanor charges. He was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court Sept. 19.
