Sheridan Woman Faces $5,000 Bond for Alleged Vehicle Theft

A $5,000 bond was set Friday for a Sheridan woman accused of driving a stolen vehicle.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Nicole Bankson, 40, with theft by receiving/

Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander said the allegation is based on a probable cause affidavit from State Police Cpl. Darryl Hinton.

Bankson, who Alexander said had no prior convictions or pending charges, was told to come back to court Sept. 12.
