A $25,000 bond was set Friday for a White Hall teenager accused of robbing another man.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge McErvin Bagby Jr., 18, with aggravated robbery and theft of property.

During the court hearing, Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander explained the allegation based on an affidavit by Detective Shaun Watson.

Alexander said police determined that the vehicle belonged to Bagby and he admitted being at the location where the victim was but told a different story, claiming that the victim was wearing a ski mask and attempted to rob him.

Bagby was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court Sept. 12.
