A $10,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man accused of shooting another man during an altercation Wednesday.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Derrick Bryant, 42, with first-degree battery.
Reading from an affidavit by Detective Shaun Watson, Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander said on Aug. 6 at 7:58 p.m., officers responded to a reported shooting on West 29th Avenue.
Bryant was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court Sept. 12.
