Warrior said the department aims to be more transparent with the media, the community, and local churches, and went on to explain why that approach is important to her.

The Pine Bluff Police Department recently announced the hiring of 16 new officers, marking one of the largest recruiting classes in its history. Chief Warrior shared her thoughts on the recruitment process and noted that even more potential officers have expressed interest in joining the force.

In addition to hiring new officers who will attend the academy, the department also brought on several experienced officers—a valuable addition to the Pine Bluff Police Department.

Finally, Warrior said her ultimate goal is to help make Pine Bluff a safer place—not just for her and her family, but for everyone in the city.
