Port City Blues Players to Perform at 2025 King Biscuit Blues Festival

The Port City Blues Players, Pine Bluff’s own celebrated blues band, will take the stage at the 2025 King Biscuit Blues Festival in Helena, Arkansas. Set for October 10–11, the festival is one of the most prestigious blues events in the world, drawing performers and fans from across the globe.

The Port City Blues Players will perform on Saturday, October 11, representing the thriving blues scene of Pine Bluff. The band serves as the house group for the Port City Blues Society and is known for hosting a free weekly blues jam every Wednesday night at RJ’s Bar and Grill, located at Second and Main in historic downtown Pine Bluff.

The band features an impressive lineup of seasoned musicians, including former Allman Brothers Band, Dickey Betts Band, and Ronnie Milsap Band member Jerry McCoy, along with Dave Sadler and Mark Morgan on guitars and vocals. The group also includes Pops Cooper on keyboards, Roscoe Willis on bass, and Lex Capraitalia on drums.
