A $15,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Redfield woman on drug related charges.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Channing Denham, 26, with possession of a Schedule 1 controlled substance.
Reading from an affidavit by White Hall Police Investigator Sgt. Charles Treadway, Deputy Prosecutor Ty Spradlin said early Wednesday morning, a White Hall Police Officer conducted a traffic stop on a Honda driven by Denham for speeding 85 in a 75-mile-per-hour zone on I-530 at the 33 mile-marker.
Denham has a previous conviction for delivery of a controlled substance. She was told to come back to court Aug. 20.
