Pine Bluff Man Faces $25,000 Bond for Alleged Vehicle Theft

A $25,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man accused of stealing a vehicle Saturday.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Jerry Golden, 25, with theft of property.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Jason Boykin, Deputy Prosecutor Maxie Kizer said on Saturday, police were sent to 1100 Regional Park Drive in reference to a stolen auto report.

Kizer said Golden has multiple prior felony convictions and Golden was told to come back to court Aug. 11.
