On Thursday Karres Manning-Center, Chief Deputy Prosecutor, formally announced her candidacy for Prosecuting Attorney of Jefferson and Lincoln Counties, representing Arkansas’s 11th Judicial District West.
The position is currently held by longtime Prosecuting Attorney Kyle Hunter, who recently announced his retirement after years of public service.
Manning-Center spoke with Deltaplex News to share why she has decided to run for office.
Manning-Center would also have Lincoln County if she wins. She shared her plans for Lincoln County as well.
She shared the goals that she has if she is elected.
