Deltaplex News has confirmed earlier reports stating that the Arkansas State Police has launched an investigation into the Pine Bluff Parks and Recreation Department following reports of potential “irregular activities”.
According to Deltaplex News sources, the city discovered concerning information internally and acted swiftly by turning over the related evidence to local law enforcement. That initial step led Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney Kyle Hunter to formally request the involvement of the Arkansas State Police, who have since agreed to take over the investigation.
Deltaplex News is told that the city has pledged full cooperation with the State Police and any other law enforcement agencies involved.
The investigation remains active, and more information is expected to be released as it becomes available.
