Meanwhile, Detective Edwards pursued Tecarlun Davis across Olive Street into a nearby wooded area. Davis briefly eluded capture, prompting a swift response from patrol units to secure the area. Davis was later spotted at the Alon gas station and taken into custody without further incident. A firearm that Davis had while fleeing was recovered after detectives searched the area he had run through. Davis now faces the following charges:

  • Terroristic Act

  • Aggravated Assault

  • Fleeing

A third suspect, Lamonte Thompson, was discovered hiding in the laundry room of the apartment complex. He was also taken into custody and charged with Fleeing.
