A Pine Bluff man was killed Wednesday when the motorcycle he was riding left the roadway and he was ejected before the motorcycle hit a tree.
According to a preliminary report, Randy L. Cessor, 33, was westbound on Arkansas Highway 54 approaching Murdock Road when the 2025 Harley Davidson he was riding veered off the roadway and struck a standing tree on the north side.
Cessor was thrown off and taken to Jefferson Regional Hospital where he died.
The accident was reported at 8:30 a.m. and the death was the 178th so far this year on the state’s highways.
