Bell was interviewed by Investigator Hernandez on Thursday, May 22nd. Following the interview, Bell was arrested and charged with Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm From a Vehicle and Unauthorized Use of Another Person’s Property to Facilitate Certain Crimes—both Class B felonies under Arkansas law.

A search warrant was later executed at Bell’s residence in McGehee, where investigators recovered the firearm believed to have been used in the incident.

“I appreciate the swift investigation by Investigator Hernandez,” said Desha County Sheriff Mitch Grant. “This kind of foolishness and disregard for the safety of our citizens will not be tolerated.”

The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities have not released further information regarding potential additional charges or other individuals involved.
