The Desha County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for Breion Martise Edwards, a 20-year-old man wanted on charges of Commercial Burglary and 13 counts of theft of a firearm.
Edwards, originally from Springfield, Illinois, has a history of arrests for Burglary, Aggravated Assault, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, and Damaged Property. He is suspected to be involved in a Commercial Burglary in Desha County, which involved the theft of numerous firearms.
While three other individuals have been arrested in connection with this case and some firearms have been recovered, Edwards remains at large. A nationwide pickup order has been issued for his arrest, with plans for extradition to Desha County upon capture.
