Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has appointed a new Quorum Court member in Jefferson County. Richard “Rick” Victorino, a Republican from Pine Bluff, will serve as Justice of the Peace for District 11 in Jefferson County
Victorino will finish the remaining term for Danny Holcomb, who resigned his position in January following issues surrounding a budget impasse.
Victorino served as Constable of Spring Township before losing to Clyde McDaniel in the 2024 Republican primary. Additionally, he is a US Navy veteran who is a member of the Watson Chapel Fire Department.
He was also involved with helping to build a wheel chair ramp for Haley Cantrell, who was paralyzed in an automobile accident on October 4, 2021. Deltaplex News shared the story of that event. You can read it by Clicking Here.
