An investigation is currently ongoing following a shooting that occurred overnight at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
This shooting coincides with the start of homecoming festivities; however, officials have indicated that there is no believed connection to these events.
The university police reported that a campus-wide lockdown was lifted overnight.
