A proposal to help universities in the state, including UAPB and UAM would also benefit Pine Bluff and Jefferson County, according to Carlton Saffa, Chief Market Officer for the Saracen Casino.
In this, the first of a series of stories about NIL drawings, Saffa lays out the ground work for the proposal.
He went on to explain the concept.
Saffa explained that taxes collected on on-line betting work the opposite of sales tax collections which goes to where the money is collected, as opposed to online betting taxes which go to where the business (which operates the site) is located.
Morning Show host Greg Horne, who interviewed Saffa, said most of those sites are overseas in countries like China and Russia.
