For the first time since 2015, police officers on bicycles are patrolling the streets of Pine Bluff.
Appearing on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show, Police Chief Denise Richardson talked about the decision to bring back a popular part of the department.
Morning show host Greg Horne said that there is a public relations aspect to the decision particularly in reaching young kids who are often fearful of officers.
Richardson was also asked if there are plans to have the officers patrol the downtown area?
