Pine Bluff Fire & Emergency Services is excited to announce, and dedicate, the newest addition to its fleet; a customized 2023 Pierce 100ft Tower/Ladder Fire Truck.
A dedication ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 10, 2024, at Fire Station #1 (200 E. 8th Avenue).
The new 2023 Tower/Ladder is a state-of-the-art, modernized, Tower/Ladder truck, equipped with tools and equipment, needed for firefighters to respond to fire, medical, rescue, and other emergency calls. This apparatus includes an onboard water tank that carries 300 gallons of water, and capable of pumping 2,000 gallons of water per minute. This new ladder will provide a much safer environment for our firefighters, and the community, when responding to emergency incidents.
Mayor Shirley Washington, Fire Chief Shawn Howell, and others are scheduled to speak at the dedication ceremony. Pine Bluff Fire & Emergency Services would like to invite all citizens, and the general public to this momentous occasion, and look forward to your attendance.
