A 43-year-old Hot Springs Village man was killed Thursday in a two-vehicle accident in rural Saline County.
According to a preliminary report, Anthony Burroughs was westbound on Highway 5 near Quapaw Road when the 2017 Honda CBR500 he was riding struck the passenger side of a 1988 Chevrolet Camaro that was eastbound on the highway.
Burroughs was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Camaro was not injured.
The accident was reported at 8:52 p.m. and the death was the 268th so far this year on the state’s highways.
