A $10,000 cash only bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff woman accused of breaking into a house Wednesday.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Ashley Weaver, 34, with residential burglar.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Michael Merritt, Deputy Prosecutor Jill Reed said police were sent to a reported burglary in progress at 2101 Avondale and were told that a white female had climbed through a window and was still inside.’

Reed said the homeowner told police Weaver did not live at the house and did not have permission to be there. She also said four designer purses had been moved and were in the room where Weaver had crawled through the window.

Weaver had pending charges of residential burglary and theft of property stemming from a previous incident. She was told to come back to court March 29.
