If Arkansas voters approve Amendment 4 when they go to the polls on November 8, recreational marijuana will be legal all over the state.
Appearing on the Oldies 1013 morning show, Jefferson County Sheriff Lafayette Woods was asked if that would be a good thing or a bad thing and if approving the amendment would reduce the workload of deputies and the Tri-County Drug Task Force to some degree.
Woods then went on to explain why.
Morning show host Greg Horne asked Woods if the black market for marijuana would go away with the passage of the amendment.
In a previous election, Arkansas law enforcement agencies soundly objected to a similar amendment while this time they are not. Woods was asked about the difference between then and now.
