A Pine Bluff woman who allegedly injured her mother during an altercation Wednesday was ordered to have no contact with the victim until the case is settled.
Police arrested Jerri Hickman, 55 after they responded to a reported domestic incident at 7:20 a.m. at a residence in the 5700 block of Middle Warren Road.
Reading from a probable cause affidavit from Detective Chris Wieland, Deputy Prosecutor Mircha King explained what the police were told.
Because she had no prior convictions or pending charges, Lincoln County District Judge Phillip Green set a $2,500 bond for Hickman after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge her with second-degree domestic battery. Green was sitting in for Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth.
Hickman was ordered to come back to court on Aug. 15.
