The Drew County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that escaped inmate Brandon Cox turned himself in without incident Friday morning:

The Drew County Sheriff’s Office is searching for an inmate who escaped while being seen at a medical facility in Monticello.
Brandon Cox has been charged with kidnapping, first-degree domestic batter, fleeing, parole violation, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The sheriff’s office requests citizens use caution, to make sure to remove keys from vehicles, and lock the doors.
