Sources have indicated to DeltaplexNews.com that the Arkansas State Police are working a shooting on I-530 near Woodson Lateral Road that has left at least one person dead. Woodson Lateral Road is in Pulaski County.
Sources tell Deltaplex News that four people were shot, and at least one of them was killed. We have been told “it was a drive by shooting on the interstate” by law enforcement sources.
We have also been informed that I-530 had been been shut down and traffic was being redirected as the crime scene was being processed, however, traffic is now flowing through the area once again.
This shooting and homicide comes after Pine Bluff recorded three homicides earlier in the day.
No other information is available on the shooting at this time. We will update with more information as it becomes available.
