Three people were killed and three others injured in a two vehicle accident in Bradley County Saturday afternoon.
According to a preliminary report from the Arkansas Department of Public Safety, Brittney Hampton, 27, of Warren was northbound on U.S. 63 when the vehicle she was driving crossed the center line and hit a vehicle driven by Karla Herrara, 37, also of Warren, head on.
Hampton, Herrara, and a minor passenger in Hampton’s vehicle were killed and three minor passengers who were also in Hampton’s vehicle were injured and taken to Jefferson Regional Hospital at Pine Bluff and Arkansas Children’s Hospital at Little Rock.
The deaths bring to 375 the number of people killed on the state’s highways so far this year.
