A $20,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man accused of breaking into two apartments on Friday.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Brandon Ferguson, 30, with residential burglary.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Jason Boykin, Deputy Prosecutor Lisa McGriff said at about 8:04 p.m., police were sent to a reported disturbance at 1100 W. 18th Ave.

The Public Defender’s Office was appointed to represent Ferguson and he was told to come back to court Jan. 11.
