A one-vehicle accident in Arkansas County Thursday resulted in the death of a Casscoe woman.
According to a preliminary report, Sarah Grace Hall, 18, was eastbound on Arkansas Highway 130 when for unknown reasons the 2010 Lincoln Navigator she was driving ran off the roadway to the right and struck a utility pole. After hitting the pole, the vehicle continued to travel east over a culvert and became airborne, landing on its roof in a small creek.
Hall was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident was reported at 12:58 p.m. and the death was the 59th so far this year on the state’s highways.
