White Hall School District Superintendent Gary Williams was a guest on the Oldies 1013 morning show Wednesday to talk about the district, particularly the recognition White Hall recently received from a national publication.

School has been going on for about a month and Williams was asked if everything was going well.

Williams went on to say that the students were able to see the destruction that was caused by the tornado which gave them an increased awareness of what can happen during severe weather.

Morning show host Greg Horne also asked if the district was getting a better handle on the LEARNS act, the statewide legislation championed by Governor Sarah Huckaby Sanders, and particularly the money issue which Horne said was giving some teachers heartburn.
