The White Hall School Board met for a special session Thursday night where the topic of students wearing masks in school was brought up again. The district is relaxing their mask mandate on December 6th.

White Hall Superintendent Doug Dorris said that the Board has followed the agreement that they put into place when the mandate was first voted on.

Dorris said that they have seen an increase in COVID positive cases in the district, but not enough to require masks to be worn at all times.

Dorris said that if 30 students test positive they will require masks to be worn again.

With Dorris announcing his retirement recently the district has started accepting applications for the Superintendent job. Dorris said they will take applications until January 14, 2022.
