The Watson Chapel School Board met on Tuesday evening to approve updates made to the student handbook, a petition for board-to-board transfer, and also began discussion on the Cellphone policy.
Legal counsel was suggested by Superintendent Wilson to ensure that the district remains compliant with the LEARNS Act and also board to board transfers.
Discussion on the Cellphone policy for WCSD started but was tabled to give school board members time to read and understand the changes that were made. The board approved 3 resignations (2 classified and 1 unclassified) and 5 new certified hires.
