A day after a deadly shooting at Watson Chapel Junior High School that resulted in one 15-year-old male student being hospitalized in critical condition and a second 15-year-old male student being locked up, Jerry Guess, the Superintendent of the Watson Chapel School District was asked how the district was holding up.

Guess spoke to Deltaplex News and was asked about the background of the students involved in the incident.

He also talked about how the staff reacted to the incident.

The school district does not have metal detectors and Guess said that might be something the district looks at in the future.
