Watson Chapel School District Food Service will be changing how virtual and community meals are provided as of Monday, December 7, 2020.
Seven days of frozen/shelf stable breakfasts and lunches will be provided on Mondays at the following times and locations:
Coleman Intermediate: 4600 West 13th Avenue from 10 am to 12 Noon.
Coleman Intermediate: 4600 West 13th Avenue from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Afterschool snacks are also provided during this time, so you may pick up both.
Watson Chapel High School: 4000 Camden Road from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Afterschool snacks are available from 4:30 pm to 5:15 pm at this location as well.
A new form will be placed on the Watson Chapel website (www.wc-web.k12.ar.us) that we will ask parents to complete weekly to help us estimate the amount of meals to be prepared. However, no one will be turned away as long as food is available at each pick up site.
Meal will be packaged so that they may be heating in the oven or microwave, instructions will provided during pick up.
Watson Chapel School District is closed from December 21 – January 1st for the Holiday Break. On Monday, December 21st, 1 – 2 weeks of meals will be available for pick up. A parent survey will be sent out to assess whether families have the proper storage for 14 days of frozen meals or if 7 days at a time is preferred.
*Meals may be picked up for anyone 18 years and younger.
*Participants do not need to be Watson Chapel Students.
*Children do not need to be in the car when the meals are picked up.
