The Walton Family Foundation will be giving more than $2 billion to various social and environmental causes.
The foundation says it will give to those who are protecting rivers and oceans, improving K-12 education and initiatives in Northwest Arkansas and the Arkansas-Mississippi Delta region.
According to reports, the money will be given over a five-year period.
