The visitation and celebration of life to honor Pine Bluff Police Detective Kevin Collins has been set.
Visitation will take place from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Friday, October 9 at New Life Church located at 2801 South Olive Street.
Detective Collins Celebration of Life will take place at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 10 at the Pine Bluff Convention Center located at 1 Convention Center Plaza.
Additionally, the Office of the Mayor is inviting the public to a Prayer and Unity Walk in honor of Detective Kevin Collins on Thursday, October 8 at 6:00 p.m.
The program will begin on the steps of City Hall located at 200 East 8th Avenue. The program will then transition to a prayer and unity walk around City Hall and end by praying for law enforcement officers and first responders.
The program is slated to begin at 6:00 p.m. and end at 7:00 p.m.
On Friday a candlelight vigil for Detective Kevin Collins is scheduled for Friday October 9, 2020 at the Sahara Shrine Temple located at 820 South Main Street in Pine Bluff from 7:30pm until 8:30pm.
Organizers say everyone is welcome to attend.
Masks are mandatory and social distancing will be enforced.
