The Interim Athletic Director of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Chris Robinson addressed the decision about the relocation of the 2021 Cricket Wireless SWAC Football Championship game that’s set for May 1st between UAPB and Alabama A&M that initially is scheduled to be played on the campus of the highest-ranked team.

Due to the restraints of COVID and conversations amongst both programs, the game will take place at a neutral location in Jackson, Mississippi at the Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium.

Robinson explained how this decision came about,

The stadium will be open at full capacity and will also include the M4 Marching Band and the Cheerleaders who have not to be present all season, to participate in the game activities. Robinson elaborated on this,

The game is set to take place on Saturday, May 1st at 2 p.m. and will be broadcasted play by play on 99.3 The Beat,  ESPN2, and live on-demand on the WatchESPN app.  Tickets for the game are available on the SWAC website.
