UAPB Basketball Promotes Sherrer, Robertson, Bozeman and Welcomes Reginald Rogers

PINE BLUFF, AR. – The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff men’s basketball head coach Solomon Bozeman announced two promotions among its coaching staff on Wednesday, with one coach assuming a new role beginning in 2023-24.

Assistant basketball coach Bryan Sherrer has been moved into the new role of Associate Head Coach. Coach Sherrer, a strong recruiter and respected around the country for his eye for talent, enters his third year with the Golden Lions. “Bryan plays a pivotal role in evaluating our program,” said Bozeman. He balances many hats and has a promising future as a head coach.

Jeremiah Bozeman enters his second season with UAPB, served as the Director of Operation in 2022-23, and plays a significant role in the masterpiece of the Golden Lions vision. “Jeremiah is an exceptional coach with a brilliant strategic mind,” said Bozeman. His significant contributions have been instrumental in our recruiting success.

Christian Robertson a former UAPB student-athlete on the men’s basketball team (2017-19), enters his third year on staff after serving as the Director of Player Development in the last two seasons. “Christian dedication and relentlessness have led to phenomenal player’s development, both on and off the court.”

Reginald Rogers, a player’s coach who works hard on and off the court, comes to UAPB after serving as an assistant coach at Shorter College in 2022. “I’m thrilled to welcome Reggie to our staff,” said Bozeman. His high character, outstanding work ethic, and commitment will significantly benefit our program.
