A Stuttgart man was killed in a one-vehicle accident in White County Monday.
According to a preliminary report, James Ray Bell, 22, was southbound on Highway 67 at the 45-mile marker when the 2014 Nissan he was driving ran off the roadway into the median and struck an over pass pillar. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident was reported at6:20 a.m. and the death was the 165th so far this year on the state’s highways.
