At about 3:00 p.m. today officers of the Pine Bluff Police Department responded to the 3900 block of West 15th Avenue in reference to shots being fired. Before they arrived calls continued to come in that shots were still being fired and at least one person had been shot. Officers arrived and located two men both of whom were injured. One was injured from a gunshot wound to the buttocks and the other was showing injuries from being in a physical fight. Both were taken to the hospital for treatment.
It appears the two men were involved in an altercation with each other before shots were fired. As the incident progressed it moved further west until it reached the intersection with Fig Street. At this time both men are being questioned by detectives to determine what happened.
