After gaining a partnership with Jefferson County, Southeast Arkansas College (SEARK) President, Steven Bloomberg spoke with Deltaplex about presenting that same partnership with the city of Pine Bluff. Bloomberg mentioned that he has presented the idea amongst a few members of the city council and Mayor Shirley Washington, and has plans of presenting it to various city council committees.
SEARK is just 5 weeks away from the beginning of its 2021 Fall semester according to Bloomberg. Bloomberg added, “I think from our perspective, we hit our targets for the summer”, which he said was a goal of 500 students enrolled. With that goal met, the college is now focusing on pushing out information about enrollment.
Classes at SEARK begin on August 23rd for the fall semester. Students are encouraged to apply online on their website.
