Jason Purdieu with the local Salvation Army joined the Oldies 1013 Morning Show for United Way Day, and he talked about what the Salvation Army has planned for the summer.

Host Greg Horne mentioned that the Salvation Army usually does bell ring donations during the winter months and Purdieu talked about that.

Horne asked how many people they serve daily and Purdieu said approximately 20 to 30 but on food distribution days which are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, they range from 40 to 60.

The Salvation Army will be out ringing bells July 24th-28th. If the public has any questions you can contact them at 870-563-0504.
